                   Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC)
                       Plots of Space Weather Data                       
                         
This directory has 3-day plots of Space Weather data in GIF format. 
The current day's plots are updated every 5 minutes. Plot files for
the last 60 days are on the SWPC Anonymous FTP server and accessible
via the Web.

The SWPC Warehouse is an FTP directory with historical SWPC Products 
and plots from 1996 up to the current day.

     Via the Web:       http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/ftpdir/warehouse/


Plots are in sub-directories named by data type.
     xray	    GOES X-ray Flux Data (5-min data)
     electron	    GOES Energetic Electron Flux (5-min data)
     proton	    GOES Integral Proton Flux (5-min data)
     goeshp	    GOES Magnetometer, H-component (1-min data)
     kp		    Estimated Planetary K-indices (5-min data)
     satenv         Satellite Environment (GOES Protons, Electrons, 
                     HP, and est. Kp)

Plot files are named with the year, month, day of the last day
on the plot and the data type. For example, 20060206_xray.gif  
is the X-ray plot for February 4-6, 2006.

Static filenames for the latest plots and updating web pages are 
described at:  http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/rt_plots/
     
The "support" directory contains short ascii text files with to
current West longitude of each GOES satellite, updated daily.
